More Pie, Please

I had been wanting to make crack pie for quite a while now, but kept putting it off because it felt too daunting.  I'm not a pie baking virgin, but I am definitely pretty new to the whole process. It's the crust part the really gets me, I can never roll it out into the correct shape, so it always ends up looking like a patchwork quilt. But this recipe doesn't call for a rolled out crust, oh no, that's not tasty enough for a crack pie. This crust is made from crushed up, homemade oatmeal cookies that are then mixed with even more butter. Yea, it's even better than you are imagining. And the inside is so rich and creamy that you literally cannot stop eating it. It sort of reminds me of a pecan pie without the pecans. Give it a try, it really isn't as hard as it seems. Your hard work will be rewarded in the me. And if not send the pie my way, no hard feelings.

I used this recipe from Bon Appetit and it turned out perfect. I didn't make any changes, even though I was tempted to cut the chill time down. Enjoy, and let me know if you think it lives up to it's name!
